One month away from the opening of the Cannes Festival and the avant-première of the new Great Gatsby version by Baz Luhrmann…
To wait and dive in the heart of the 20s, take a look at the great blog Slavia Vintage. You will find the Riviera addresses of Scott Fitzgerald (Cap d'Antibes mythical "Tender Is the Night"), but also pretty pictures of the Hyères Fashion Festival in the incredible Villa Noailles, new bars “Art deco” revival and even the hotel where the famous Hercule Poirot used to spend his summer vacation.
A compendium of beautiful pictures, stories and decoration addresses.
Very soon, Slavia Vintage will offer its own shop for vintage furniture : armchairs, chairs and tables of the 50s and 60s but also small chrome lamps of the Roaring Twenties and bedside tables and “bakelite” lamps that will remind you of “Mildred Pierce”. A lovely style to marry with exotic prints for a California twist!
